Three longtime friends. One law firm. And a secret from their past that refuses to stay buried.
Honour is a 2026 Korean mystery thriller starring Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-chae, and Lee Chung-ah as three lawyers whose professional lives become tangled with an event they have kept hidden for two decades. The three women work together at L&J, a law firm specializing in representing victims of crimes against women, but the cases they take on eventually begin to connect with their own past.

Three Lawyers Who Have Known Each Other for 20 Years
Yoon Ra-young, Kang Shin-jae, and Hwang Hyun-jin met when they were university students. Twenty years later, they are still close friends and work together as lawyers at L&J.
But their friendship is built around something they have never been able to discuss openly.
A secret from their university days eventually resurfaces, threatening both their careers and the relationship that has kept the three women together for so long.
That history gives Honour a different source of tension from a typical legal drama. The women aren’t starting from opposite sides of a case. They already know each other extremely well, which makes the question of what happened between them just as important as the cases they’re trying to solve.
L&J Takes on Cases Involving Women
The three lawyers aren’t working in a general-purpose law firm.
L&J specializes in representing victims of crimes against women, putting the characters in situations where questions of evidence, credibility, power, and public opinion can become central to a case.
Yoon Ra-young is the firm’s prominent star lawyer, known for her ability to handle herself in public debates and defend L&J’s position under pressure. Kang Shin-jae has a forceful personality and approaches her work with confidence, while Hwang Hyun-jin is more inclined to act when she believes something is wrong.
Their different personalities also affect how they approach the problems around them.
The Past Starts Colliding With Their Work
The mystery begins to expand when a new case exposes information connected to the secret the three women have carried for years.
One of the early cases involves Jo Yoo-jung, a young victim who initially confesses to killing a journalist before retracting that confession. She reveals the existence of Connect In, a secret prostitution app, before she is later found dead in her hospital room.
That development pushes the story beyond a straightforward courtroom mystery.
The lawyers now have to consider who is protecting the truth, who benefits from keeping it hidden, and how far the people involved are willing to go to prevent the past from being exposed.
The Three Friends Don’t Always Fight the Same Way
The friendship between Ra-young, Shin-jae, and Hyun-jin is one of the most important parts of Honour.
They have spent decades knowing each other’s personalities, strengths, and weaknesses. That makes them an effective team, but it also means their personal history cannot simply be separated from their professional lives.
When the secret from their past begins affecting the present, their loyalty to one another is tested alongside their legal work. The series uses that tension to make the central mystery personal: solving the case could also mean confronting something the three women have spent years trying to leave behind.
A Mystery That Keeps Expanding
Honour is based on the Swedish television series Heder, but the Korean adaptation places its own focus on the relationships between its three central lawyers and the cases surrounding them.
The series combines legal drama with mystery and thriller elements, gradually connecting present-day investigations with an event from twenty years earlier.
That structure gives the story two questions to work through at once: what happened back then, and why is it becoming impossible to keep hidden now?
